Tropical Dream Center

As with the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, it is a facility located in the Ocean Expo Park. Many rare types of plant life such as flowers and tropical fruits that can only be found in the subtropical areas of Okinawa are grown and exhibited here. Visitors can enjoy various events such as the "lotus riding experience", where you ride on a huge lotus that floats on the water.

Bise Fukugi Tree Road

This is a region where old Okinawan homes remain unchanged. The Fukugi (garcinias) that have been planted for protection from storms are lined up for three kilometers. Okinawa is the unique place where you can see such a setting that seems as though time has stopped.

Yanbaru Night Tour

Since you are in the northern part of the island, you do not want to miss the Yanbaru night, which is little-known to most people. The Yanbaru is inhabited by various indigenous birds, reptiles, and amphibians. There are mini tours that can take you to all kinds of places between 7 p.m. and about 9 p.m., which is when these rare creatures are the most active. Your hotel concierge can arrange one for you if you are interested.
