3-Day Model Trip FOCUS / Hokuriku / Kanazawa bus routes

Kanazawa is one of Japan's major cities. The bus network is complicated, serving not just tourists, but also local people shopping and going about their business. So it's useful to learn about the "Castle Town Kanazawa Sightseeing Bus". This leaves from the number 0 platform outside the east exit of Kanazawa Station, and goes to Korinbo and Kenrokuen-shita for the samurai houses; Hashiba-cho for Higashi Chaya; and Musashi-ga-tsuji for Omi Ichiba(morning market). Then it goes back to Kanazawa Station. This bus goes to almost all Kanazawa's sightseeing spots, and leaves every 15 minutes, so you will not have to wait long. A "One-day free ticket" is available that allows you to use the bus as many times as you want in a day. This is sold at the Hokuriku Tetsudo Hanbai (Railway Sales) Center at the station's east exit bus terminal, and the Hokutetsu Kanko center near Kenrokuen-shita Bus Stop.
