●Travel Expos, Trade Fairs and Business MeetingsFrom promotions for general consumers to the creation of business opportunities through organizing and participating in eventsWe organize, exhibit and participate in events such as travel exhibitions, trade fairs and business meetings for both general consumers and business partners in our main inbound markets. We are especially encouraging tourism-related companies to plan and sell travel products and services through these events. 2Inbound Tourism Marketing(Market-based Promotion)5‘Japan Travel Fair’ in Australia is one of our main events for general consumers, while ‘World Travel Market’ held every November in London primarily targets industry stakeholders. A particularly large-scale event held by JNTO is ‘Visit Japan Travel & MICE Mart’, where overseas travel agencies and Japanese tourism businesses gather seeking to create inbound-related business opportunities.● Familiarization trip to Japan and seminars for travel agencies and airlinesLeading tourism-related companies to make high-quality plans and strengthen their sales capabilityOne of our promotional projects is to hold familiarization trips to Japan and seminars for travel agencies and airlines, with a view to supporting the planning and sales of attractive travel products.For example, in Vietnam, because of the visa requirement, a high percentage of people book travel to Japan through travel agencies. Therefore, it is important for us to hold seminars and invite those in charge of planning tours to Japan in order for them to obtain the knowledge needed to make and sell their tour products. We also hold a seminar, ‘Japan Showcase’, for travel agencies in the U.S. to help them arrange and sell tours to Japan.In addition, we have promotional projects targeting travel agencies and airlines in many other markets as well. We are engaged in carrying out a variety of promotional activities based on the ‘Inbound Travel Funnel’ model described on Page 4 to encourage the target audience to go through the ‘Recognition & Interest’ to the ‘Booking & Purchase’ stages of the funnel. This page introduces our ‘market-based promotion’, which is tailored to the characteristics of each market.For general consumers, we provide information on traveling in Japan through our websites and social media as well as conduct other campaigns to encourage them to visit Japan. On the other hand, for travel agencies and airlines, we offer familiarization trips to Japan, business meeting opportunities as well as support with planning and selling their travel products and services.We launch promotions in a way that meets the needs and situations of both general consumers and stakeholders in the industry.Optimized Promotion Based on the Characteristics of Each Market
