Ever since its establishment, JNTO has played a central role in initiatives geared toward developing and expanding inbound tourism. As the main constituent of inbound tourism promotion, it has contributed to achieving the government’s goal of making Japan a top international tourist destination. Since then, we have been engaged in attracting international visitors to Japan for more than 50 years as a designated organization for inbound tourism. We have played a central role in efforts to promote and expand inbound tourism to Japan ever since our founding.
