Expanding opportunities for MICE through new partnershipsCOLUMNcorporation.In order to support the organizers of international conventions in Japan, we operate a system whereby tax incentive-based donations are solicited for international conventions that meet certain requirements, and are then provided as grants to the organizers. Those planning to obtain financial support to hold international conventions are encouraged to make use of the contributions and grant system.In order to attract incentive travel to Japan, we also hold seminars and business meetings as well as invite key decision makers, in cooperation with local governments, convention bureaus and private companies.This is one of our core projects to provide support for both domestic and overseas stakeholders through our networks. For organizers in Japan that are considering holding MICE, we offer consulting to help them select candidate cities, make bid proposals and carry out lobbying activities. There is also a contributions and grants system. For our overseas stakeholders, we have signed a destination partnership agreement with the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers（IAPCO）, an international organization comprising major professional congress organizers（PCOs）that influence congress venue decisions.
