Expo Memorial ParkOsaka

This park was built on the site of the 1970 Japan World Exhibition (Expo '70). The symbolic Tower of the Sun is the main figure of the park and the cultural facilities include the Natural and Cultural Gardens (lawn and tree park), the Japanese Garden, Japan Folk Crafts Museum and other museums and recreation facilities including the Expoland amusement park and a spa. In the Natural and Cultural Gardens, you can enjoy the nature of each season and there are also ample amenities, for example, you can ride unique bicycles that would not be allowed in the town. One place you must pop in at is the Japanese Garden, one of the largest gardens in Japan. Its harmonious design incorporates 4 landscape techniques along with a stream that flows through areas representing ancient times, medieval times, recent times to the present, and you can feel the world of Japanese "Wabi or rustic simplicity and Sabi or beautiful serenity". A ride on the huge Ferris wheel at Expoland, which takes about 15 min, will provide you with a wonderful view from a height of 85 meters.
You can also enjoy tea (460 yen) served in a teahouse.
