Hita Gion Festival

The Hida Gion Festival is a summer festival in which participants seek to dispel pestilence and wind and flood damage and pray for peace and well-being. The highlight of the festival consists of a parade of nine elegant floats, including some that measure more than ten meters in height, through the streets of this town.

The Hita Gion Festival is held every year on the first Saturday and Sunday after July 20.
