Considerations On Convenience For Tourists

The "Hana Bus" (Flower Bus) makes excursion tours of the northern part of Awaji, for one month in the spring and again for a month in the fall. When the winter daffodils are in bloom, there is a "Suisen Bus" (Daffodil Bus) that departs from the bus terminals at Sumoto and Fukura, increasing the convenience for tourists coming to the area.

The Cuisine Of Awaji

Surrounded by the sea, Awaji Island is a treasure house for marine products, and here you can enjoy a variety of marine dishes, such as sea bream and wakame, a kind of seaweed, in spring, sea eel, abalone, horse mackerel, octopus, and conger eel in summer, sole and Spanish mackerel in the fall, and globefish or stonefish in winter.
