Tokachi Onsen (Otofuke)-
This hot spring village is located on the plains near the Tokachi River. The famous "Vegetative Moor Hot Spring" is a rare example of this type of hot spring, even worldwide, and it has been specified as a cultural property of Hokkaido. The hot spring water is easy on the skin, and it is well-known as the "Bijin no Yu" (literally, Hot Spring for Beautiful Women)
Art (Shikaoi)-
Shikaoi is an attractive city with a variety of art facilities, including the Kanda Nissho Memorial Museum of Art, where you will find a display of the work by Kanda Nissho, a painter of the realism school, the Art Collection Fukuhara Memorial Hall, and the lakeside Minerva Art Museum, located in the Hotel Fukuhara, etc.
Tokachi Millennium Forest-
Here you will find attractive gardens taking full advantage of the beautiful natural landscape and displays of contemporary art closely matching the surrounding forest, and you can use a Segway to get around the area. The homemade farm produce, the stock farm products, and the restaurants featuring local materials are very popular.
