Highlights

Benesse Art Site Naoshima

This is a generic term for the various forms of art on display at Naoshima, including the Benesse House facility and a house building project in which the spaces in houses built by artists are considered works of art.

The art island "Naoshima" has been widely introduced overseas.

The Umi-no-Eki "Naoshima"

The novel design of this facility (by the design office SANAA) is appropriate for the entrance to the island of modern art.

The facility provides a tourist guide site and a ferry terminal, etc. and it is popular with tourists from overseas, partially because it provides announcements in English.
