Yuki-no-Otani (April - June)-
Just after all of the routes in the area are opened in the middle of April, the Yuki-no-Otani route is also opened in Murodo. The walls of this snow corridor can be as tall as 20-meters high as you walk through it, and the awesome scenery is unique even on the global scale.
Scenery That Can Only Be Found In Tateyama Kurobe-
The Mt. Tateyama mountain range rises 2,500 meters above the Murodo plateau, the Midagahara marshlands and Kurobe Dam. The area is alluring in all four seasons, with attractions like the snow corridors in spring, the refreshing atmosphere in summer, the colorful leaves of autumn and the new snow of winter.
Guides In Foreign Languages-
In order to ensure that foreign visitors can easily make use of the transportation facilities, along with pamphlets in foreign languages and conversation booklets provided in English, Chinese (both simplified and traditional), and Korean at facilities along the alpine route, broadcast guides in foreign languages are provided on the alpine buses, the Tateyama ropeway, and the trolley buses (only available for groups). Time tables and guides at the bus stops are also available in foreign languages.
