- JR Sapporo Station Area
This is the starting point for fashion in Hokkaido. There are many boutiques, household appliance shops, restaurants, and movie theaters, etc. concentrated here, and the area is popular among the younger citizens. The view from the JR Tower Observation Room is breathtakingly beautiful.
Blessed with fresh marine and farm products, there are a variety of excellent Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes available, such as "Sapporo Ramen" (Chinese noodles in soup) and "Genghis Khan" (Mongolian mutton barbecue).
- Sapporo Snow Festival
This festival features 300 large and small ice and snow sculptures, all lined up in a row. The larger ones are about 15 meters tall, and these huge snow sculptures are very impressive. Every year, about 2 million people enjoy these detailed snow-art sculptures.
