The Kamikiyamachi and surrounding areas flourished as the Takase river region prospered. We are located in an area where Kyoto's nostalgic ambience from a bygone era is still alive!

Our restaurant interior was carefully remodeled / restored using high quality building materials and beams effectively to preserve the ambiance of the previous inn/restaurant with a recessed alcove built into each room.

Freshness is top priority for our cuisine. Our wild seafood is shipped directly from the Taiza region of the Wakasa district daily, while our local vegetables are received mainly through our own network of farmers in the Kamigamo region of Kyoto prefecture. We are fastidious about serving fresh, quality food that we acquire daily!
