Authentic handmade soba (buckwheat noodles) specialist restaurant established in 1929. Elegant, smooth and thin soba noodles. Our Kyoto style broth is rich in aroma and the flavor of bonito flakes, and made from an original secret recipe. A wide selection of creative dishes available using seasonal ingredients from Kyoto. Soba (buckwheat noodle) kaiseki (traditional Japanese course menu) ・ udon (thick white noodles) sukiyaki hotpot (Japanese beef hotpot) are both perfect for banquet parties. Our manager is recognized as one of the leading handmade soba (buckwheat noodle) chefs in the Kyoto region and was awarded the「Master of Our Time」and given a certificate for his excellent skills.
He was also certified a Meister of National Craftsmen's Association (trainer with exceptional skills). He was the first to be certified out of about 400 chefs in Japan who specialize in noodle cuisine.
