Airport Limousine Bus

convenient and more economical alternative, especially if they're traveling with
heavy luggage. This limousine bus service provides door-to-door service to major
stations and hotels in Osaka. Another bus service, the OCAT Shuttle 880, travels
to the Osaka City Air Terminal, which has JR Namba Station underground in central Osaka, every
Clients can also take the train into Osaka or even farther to Kyoto or Kobe from
KIX's second-floor connecting concourse. The limited express JR Haruka travels
to Tennoji and Shin-Osaka stations before continuing to Kyoto. Slower is the
JR rapid(Kaisoku), which travels from the airport to Tennoji and Osaka stations before
continuing to Kobe. Clients with a Japan Rail Pass can ride these trains for free, but first they'll have to exchange their Exchange
Order for a Japan Rail Pass at an applicable JR station that has a Japan Rail Pass Exchange office: it is available at the Green Window (Midori-no-Madoguchi) Reservation Ticket Office in Kansai Airport Station (2nd floor, outside the Passenger Terminal Building, open daily from 5:30 am to 11pm), or in Osaka, Shin-Osaka, Kyoto and Sannomiya stations. In addition to JR trains you can use the private Nankai Line, which offers two types of train service to Namba Nankai Station in central Osaka. Limited express the rapi:t a (pronounced rapito alpha) and the rapi:t b (rapito beta, stops at more stations, including Sakai) reaches Namba in 34-41 minutes with two departures every hour. You can also take Nankai Airport Line to Namba in 45 minutes by express.
Unless more personal comfort is desired, normal taxi fares are quite expensive. For example, about 16,000 yen to Namba, about 32,000 yen to Kyoto, and about 22,000 yen to Kobe.
A shared taxi is a good option if traveling to Kyoto and Kobe (3,500 yen per person to Kyoto, and 2,000 yen to Ashiya, Kobe). A reservation is required.
