The 10 IC Cards can now be used all throughout Japan interchangeably!

The 10 IC Cards issued by Japan Railway and other private railways can now be used all throughout Japan interchangeably!

If you possess one card, you now have the convenience of using that single card when you travel around Japan. The following 10 cards have become interchangeable:

Suica
(Eastern Japan)
PASMO
(Tokyo)
Icoca
(Western Japan)
PiTaPa
(Kansai area)
TOICA
(Central Japan)

manaca
(Nagoya)
Kitaca
(Hokkaido area)
SUGOCA
(Kyushu)
nimoca
(Fukuoka)
Hayakaken
(Fukuoka City)

The system allows the holder to use the card interchangeably across the nation on Japan’s buses, subways, and private railways, and also at shops accepting e-money. There is the logo as left at the places where the service is available. (There may be cases where the logo is not presented.)
