Kawasaki World Kobe
Gathering various products of Kawasaki Heavy Industries supporting the development of Japan
Kawasaki World compresses the history, today and future of Kawasaki Heavy Industries that was born in Kobe more than a century ago. Eight zones including "Meet the Founders Area," "History Area," "Kawasaki World Theater," "Motorcycle Gallery," "Land Zone," "Sea Zone," "Air Zone" and "Environment Area" introduce technical achievements of the company in a comprehensive manner.
Visitors will meet long-forgotten machines such as the first domestic robot, early models of jet ski which is now commonplace in marine leisure and successive Kawasaki machines that motorcycle fans can't miss. You can take the driver's seat of Shinkansen and pilot's seat of a helicopter. Flight simulation of a Cessna plain is also available.
A full-scale model of the next-generation hybrid train SWIMO is exhibited to demonstrate various efforts by Kawasaki Heavy Industries to contribute to future global environment.
Because Kawasaki World is in the Kobe Maritime Museum showing the history of the Port of Kobe and a collection of various ship models, you can see both of them by one admission.
