This is one of the best radium springs (simple radioactive spring) in the world and has outstanding hormesis effect and an effect to make skin beautiful. It warms your body thoroughly from inside with therapeutic effects. They say the hot spring is good for nerve pain, sore muscles, joint pain, fatigue, feeling of cold, arteriosclerosis, bruise, sprain, motor weakness, digestive disorders, cuts, chronic skin disease, hypertension, cholecystitis, hemorrhoids and women's diseases and also to make skin beautiful. The resort is selected as one of the best 100 hot springs in Japan and also designated as a National Hot Spring Health Resort. Any of the hot-spring inns in the area including communal bathhouse "Sekinoyu" and a bathhouse for a day trip "Sekigane Yumeikan" accepts a day trippers but their opening hours and fees may vary. Please make an inquiry individually. The part from "Eguimo Shinsui Park" to "Jizo-in" of Sekigane Onsen resort area is a slope. People who walked here take a rest at "Enmei-chaya no Ashiyu" footbath to relieve their fatigue.
