Gozenyu (Nagayu Hot Springs Convalescence Culture Center)

It has been a famous hot spring since Edo period. People have sayings that "It works by drinking, and by bathing for a long time. Nagayu (長湯) is medicine for heart, stomach, intestine and blood". It is one of the few hot spring in Japan that contains carbon dioxide.

Admission Fee: Adult 500 yen, Child 200 yen, Child under 6 is free (accompanied by a parent), Family bathroom 2,000 yen /50 minutes
Closed: Third Wednesdays
Directions: 25 minutes by car from Bungotaketa Station on JR Hohi Main Line. 3 minutes walk from Nagayu Shako bus stop.
[Parking] 3 parking space for buses and 60 parking spaces for cars are available.
