The Sumida Heritage Museum introduces
and preserves the history, traditions and culture of Sumida through
pictures, panels, miniature models and documents.
The first floor focuses on the history of Sumida and pays tribute
to some of its many prominent authors and poets.
The Sumida-gawa River sets the theme of the second floor highlighted
by the legend of Umewaka and images of regattas on the river.
The third floor offers an open exhibition space featuring various
themes throughout the year.
Here also local craftsmen come to demonstrate their crafts. |
