You can experience the Tokushima
summer every day here through watching or participating in the dancing.
At the Awaodori Hall on the second floor of the Main Hall, you can
dance and enjoy the authentic Awaodori together with the dancers
who belong to the exclusive "Awano-kaze" circle. On the
third floor of the hall is located the Awaodori Museum, which contains
an exhibition on the history of the dance and an "experience
corner". The fifth floor houses the platform of the Mayuyama
Cable-Car, where you can see the Onaruto Bridge, a suspension bridge
that spans the straight. The first floor is taken up by a souvenir
shop, "Arudeyo, Tokushima", where you can find a variety
of souvenirs and specialty items from Tokushima. |
