The only musical instrument
museum in the country, displaying some 1,000 ethnic musical instruments
from the countries of Asia, Africa, Oceania etc. In addition to
headphones offering the chance to listen to the tones of around
70 different instruments, visitors can touch and even play some
instruments. Lectures and seminars for the public are given regularly
as well as concerts using the instruments on display. This museum
gives visitors a thorough grounding in the cultures of both music
and musical instruments. |
