The Bamboo Pavilion is the main
theme hall of the park, its exterior design representing the image
of bamboo. The central tower resembles a bamboo shoot at the top,
Kikko bamboo in the basement and a bamboo rhizome in the central
structure. A musical instrument consisting of 270 pieces of bamboo
trees lines the inside of a hall in the tower and imitates a pipe
organ to play synthesized background fantasy music composed in the
clear tones of shakuhachi bamboo flutes and shishi-odoshi (scare-deer).
Inside the building, there is a bamboo workshop where you can view
bamboo ware and crafts, and an exhibition room for bamboo products. |
