Take-Ningyo-no Sato is the only
place in Japan where visitors can learn about Echizen bamboo dolls
(take-ningyo). Serving as center of the local bamboo doll industry,
the facility includes a workshop where visitors can see the delicate
work of local craftsmen, as well as a museum displaying masterpieces
they have created. Trial lessons in bamboo doll-making are also
available. |
