Comment "Namahage" is an ethnic performance of the Oga district. A pavilion is devoted to introducing and explaining the performance, including displays showing the style of the performance and local customs on a large screen, as well as an exhibition of some 60 varieties of masks and costumes from many areas of Oga city. PC screen displays also show the locality, tradition and special features of the Oga district in relation to the Namahage performances. Graphic panel displays are also available to explain the background of the performance and other related events. This is an ideal chance to get to know more about this traditional and unique event.
