Office and storehouse: White pillars accent the dark-brown clapboard of the churchlike, two-story, Western-style, office building. The storehouse, a gabled, black boarded, white-walled, two-story building, originally accommodated miso preparation. In 1991 it was opened to the public as an archive. In the History Museum, completed in 1907, mannequins illustrate traditional methods of miso preparation. Old documents, including those pertaining to appointment as purveyors to the Imperial Household Agency, are on display. Miso Tours by prior arrangement only.
