Comment The collection here totals more than ten thousand art treasures handed down for generations by the Owari-Tokugawa family, mainly favorite items of the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Besides the world-renowned National Treasure "Picture Scroll of the Story of Genji", precious artifacts housed here include nine National Treasures, 51 Important Cultural Assets, and 44 Important Art Treasures. The museum also houses a fascinating collection from the tea room, study room and Noh stage of Nagoya Castle.
AccessIt is 20 min. from Nagoya station by city bus. It is 15 min. from Sakae.
It is 3 min. of walking of the " Shindeki" together. 10 min. of be walking from the JR Osone Minamiguchi
