Course A: Gero-onsen Hot Spring, Hidatakayama, Shirakawago

Make the rounds of hot springs in the famous Gero-onsen Hot Spring, bargain with farmer's wives in Takayama, the "Little Kyoto" of Hida. Experience weaving at the World Heritage Shirakawago. A heartwarming tour on which you can experience some of the Japanese spirit.

  • DAY1

    Gero - sightseeing in the town (Funsen-ike Pond, Onsen-ji Temple, Gassho-mura Village in Gero-onsen Hot Spring)(overnight)

  • DAY2

    Gero - (47 minutes by Limited Express on the JR Takayama Honsen Line) - Takayama - sightseeing in the town (the morning market, Jinya manor house, stall plaza, Hida Kokubun-ji Temple) - (1 hour 12 minutes by bus) - Makito - (57 minutes by bus) - Ogi-machi (Shirakawago)(overnight)

  • DAY3

    Shirakawago - sightseeing in the town (Myozen-ji Temple, Kuri Kyodokan Local Museum, An outdoor museum featuring a house built in the Gassho-zukuri style) - (1 hour 48 minutes by bus) - Minoshirotori - (1 hour 51 minutes by train on the Nagaragawa Line) - Mino-ota - (20 minutes by JR Takayama Honsen Line Limited Express) - Gifu

Getting There:
An hour 40 minutes from Nagoya to Gero by Limited Express on the JR Takayama Honsen Line
Returning:
Twenty minutes from Gifu to Nagoya on the JR Tokaido Honsen Line

Course B:Shizuoka, Sumatokyo Gorge, Hamamatsu, Nagoya

Miho Matsubara, which is well loved even in China for the legend of the heavenly maiden, and Oigawa Line, where you can experience a steam locomotive. In Hamamatsu, we will visit the Kagakukan (Science Museum), where you can operate robots and computers, and experience science.

    Shizuoka - sightseeing in the town - (29 minutes on the JR Tokaido Honsen Line) - Kanaya - (1 hour 10 minutes on the Oigawa Line) - Senzu - (40 minutes by bus) - Sumatakyo-onsen Hot Spring (overnight)

  • DAY2

    Sumatakyo-onsen Hot Spring - (1 hour 10 minutes on the Oigawa Line) - Kanaya - (40 minutes on the JR Tokaido Honsen Line) - Hamamatsu - sightseeing in the town(overnight)

  • DAY3

    Hamamatsu - (34 minutes on the JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line) - Nagoya - sightseeing in the town

Course C:Toyota - Gamagori - Chita Peninsula - Nagoya

Aichi Prefecture geographically located in the center of Japan has been a prosperous trading area since ancient times. The surrounding area of Toyota City is famous as the biggest industrial production area in Japan. You can participate in a plant tour of the world-famous Toyota Motor Corporation (*reservation required). At the tip of the Chita Peninsula overlooking Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay, you will definitely be satisfied with the beautiful ocean view and seafood. After moving to Nagoya on the last day, you should visit Inuyama Castle designated as a national treasure, and the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium.

  • DAY1

    Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) - (approx. 35 minutes to Meitetsu Nagoya Station by limited express on the Meitetsu Airport Line, approx. 20 minutes to Chiryu Station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Line, approx. 17 minutes to Tsuchihashi Station on the Meitetsu Mikawa Line, and then approx. 15 minutes to Toyota Kaikan Exhibition Hall from the station by bus or taxi) - Toyota Kaikan Exhibition Hall & plant tour - (approx. 20 minutes to return to Chiryu Station via the Meitetsu Mikawa Line, and then approx. 6 minutes to Kariya Station on the Meitetsu Mikawa Line) - (approx. 20 minutes to Gamagori Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line) - Gamagori (stay overnight)

  • DAY2

    Gamagori - (approx. 15 minutes from Gamagori Station by direct bus) - Laguna Gamagori - (move to Mikawa-Otsuka Station by direct bus, approximately 20 minutes to Okazaki Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line, and then about 25 minutes to Kanayama Station on the special rapid of the JR Tokaido Main Line) - (approx. 1 hour to Utsumi Station by limited express on the Meitetsu Nagoya Line) - Minamichita (stay overnight)

  • DAY3

    Minamichita - (walk to Utsumi Station) - (approx. 15 minutes to Fuki Station by the Meitetsu Chita Line, approximately 20 minutes to Otagawa Station by the Meitetsu Kowa Line, about 10 minutes to Jingu-mae Station by the Meitetsu Tokoname Line, about 30 minutes to Inuyama Station by the Meitetsu Nagoya/Inuyama Line, and walk from the station) - Inuyama Castle - (approx. 30 minutes to Kanayama Station by the rapid limited express on the Meitetsu Inuyama Line) - (approx. 10 minutes to Nagoyako Station by Nagoya City Subway Meiko Line) - Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium - (approx. 10 minutes to Kanayama Station by Nagoya City Subway Meiko Line) - (approx. 5 minutes to Nagoya Station by JR Chuo Line) - Stroll in the urban area of Nagoya - (walk to Meitetsu Nagoya Station, and then approx. 35 minutes to Central Japan International Airport Station by limited express on the Meitetsu Airport Line) - Central Japan International Airport (Centrair)
