Yokosuka is home to an American Military Base, and many places here evoke feelings of American culture. Major companies are also building factories here as part of the Tokyo Bay Rinkai Industrial Area, and the main plant of internationally renowned Japanese car manufacturer Nissan Motor Corporation is also located in this area.
