Eastern Kobe is a region blessed with excellent water, situated between the Rokko Mountains and the Seto Inland Sea. Prospering with the production of Japanese rice wine called Nada-Gogo, this area is a high class commuter town for Osaka and Kobe, taking in Ashiya and Nishinomiya to the east of Kobe City.
