Arriving at a Ryokan

A wide range of hotel accommodations is available around most tourist areas and hot spring resorts. The majority of these are ryokan. Large ryokan usually have a minivan which they use to meet guests at the nearest train station. When you arrive at the station all you need to do is give the ryokan a call and they will come and get you right away. Sometimes it is possible to arrange for them to wait for you if you specify which train you will be coming on. |
