Experience the Four Seasons in a Japanese-style Garden with the Michelin Stamp of Approval

On display here is local businessman Adachi Zenko's collection of modern Japanese-style paintings, including Yokoyama Taikan's magnum opus Autumn Leaves, ceramics, sculptures, maki-e lacquer works, etc. However, just as splendid as the collection are six wonderful Japanese-style gardens with a total area of about 165,000 square meters. Awarded with three stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan, these gardens are highly praised internationally as well, and have been selected the best in Japan every year since 2003 in the specialist magazine "Journal of Japanese Gardening." Adachi's idea was that "a Japanese landscape garden is also a painting" in which the mountains in the distance are part of the garden scenery. Every detail is planned with exquisite care, down to the smallest stone. Experiencing the changing seasons in these most beautiful of Japanese gardens is pure bliss.
