The Japan Convention Bureau (JCB), a division of the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO), in cooperation with Japan's International Convention Cities, invites association executives and international meeting planners to come to Japan next February to March as our guests to participate in "Meet Japan", Hosted Buyers Program 2009.

For selecting international convention decision makers who are considering Japan as a site for their events, February 26 — March 5, 2009 are dates to save. To help promote Japan as an international convention destination, JNTO is pleased to offer the "Meet Japan" Hosted Buyers Program. The 2009 program and application information are outlined below. If you are planning to hold an international convention in Japan in the near future, seriously investigating the possibility, or currently holding or preparing to hold a convention here, this program is for you. It offers the opportunity to visit Japan's beautiful regional cities and appreciate their superb convention and tourist amenities. You'll learn first-hand about the warm hospitality and unique charm of each of Japan's diverse Convention Cities.

Participant Qualifications
1. President, general secretary or a member of site selection committee of an international organization.
2. An international organization has a Japanese branch or members who are actively seeking to hold the event in Japan
Package
Includes business-class round-trip air fare to Japan and transportation, accommodation (six nights) and meals during the program.
*Not Included: Airport taxes, meals not specified and items of a personal nature.
Itinerary
Feb. 26, Thu. Departure from your country
Feb. 27, Fri. Arrival in Japan. You will be transferred to Tokyo.
Feb. 28- Mar. 3, Sat.-Tue.
Inspection Tours visiting regional International Convention Cities.
Mar. 4, Wed. Participate in "MEET JAPAN" activities (Session with cities) and Reception.
Mar. 5, Thu. Departure from Japan
